SPECIFICATION
DESCRIPTION
IPC 828 Clear is a UV curable special screen inks for produce ink-jet receptive layer for CD-R and DVD-R as well as several kinds of substrate. This is specifically formulated for produce surface writable and printable water –based inkjet printer by which Signature, Epson, Canon with excellent color reproduction and sharpness image. The coating has outstanding adhesion to most plastics, and flexibility and resistance to scuff, non –yellowing properties after curing.
APPLICATION SUGGESTIONS
IPC 828 Clear is just only for water- based ink receptive matrix layer at Optical disc. One layer printing is sufficient. But we recommend, if you need very high-density ink jet printing image, 2 layer of IPC 828 Clear for more color reproduction and quickly absorption dye of jet print inks. A screen mesh size of 200 – 300 mesh/inch plain wave, monofilament polyester mesh(UV screen emulsions must be water and solvent resistant to prevent emulsion breakdown) will be provide best results and sharp polyurethane squeegee of approximately 75 – 85 durometer 60/90 recommended for optimum results. Actual cure speeds will vary depending on color and opacity of the ink, screen mesh, and other printing parameters that affect ink deposit, as well as the UV curing unit used.
WASH UP
Screen may be cleaned with IPA, n-propyl acetate or many commercial screen washes. We recommended JD-100 Wash up solution for cleanings and clean immediately after printing.
HEALTH & SAFETY
As with this inks, gloves and safety device should be used when handling the products. For more complete information do you need, refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet before use.
STORAGE & HANDLING
The product requires stirring prior to use. The shelf – life is good when stored away from heat and protected from UV light exposure. The material is combustible and should not be used near open flame. Store below 32°C. Best when used within 6months of product Lot No. date on label. Under different conditions, particular higher storage temperatures, the shelf life is reduced.
