SPECIFICATION
DESCRIPTION
MIR series is mirror effect screen inks, which can offer mirror appearance by printing on the bac k side of transparent film and sheeting. This is essentially evaporation-drying ink , sometime UV curable screen inks also available.
A screen mesh size of 250 ~ 300 mesh/inch plain wave, monofilament polyester mesh will be provide best results and sharp polyurethane squeegee of approximately 75 – 85 durometer 60/90 recommended for optimum results. Used for obtaining metallic appearance by printing on the back side of transparent and flat surface of plastic sheet like treated PET, Polycarbonate, Hard PVC, Acrylic. Mirror effect ink blended with special aluminum powder and resin that creates metallic brill iant effect instead of hot stamping or metallic plating by vacuum evaporation. Drying time : Air drying 20 ~ 30°C / app. 60 min or Forced-drying 50 ~ 60°C/app 20min
WASH UP
Screen may be cleaned with IPA, n-propyl acetate or many commercial screen washes. We recommended JD-100 Wash up solution for cleanings and clean immediately after printing.
HEALTH & SAFETY
As with this inks , gloves and safety device should be used when handling the products. For more complete information do you need, refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet before use
STORAGE & HANDLING
The product requires stirring prior to use. The shelf – life is good when stored away from heat and protected from UV light exposure. The material is combustible and should not be used near open flame. Store below 32°C. Best when used within 6 months of product Lot No. date on label. Under different conditions, particular higher storage temperatures, the shelf life is reduced.
